Submit a Meter Reading

Hydro Ottawa Limited offers residential customers the convenience of submitting electricity meter readings online.

A yellow Meter Reading Request Form is left at a customer's home when Hydro Ottawa Limited field staff are unable to read the electricity meter during a regularly scheduled visit. In order to avoid a bill based on estimated consumption, it is important for customers to submit a meter reading to Hydro Ottawa Limited no later than one week from the time that they receive this request card.
