Hydro Ottawa is taking its electricity conservation message into the community. Our Conservation Team can teach you about how to save money and electricity through their presentations and displays. Request the Conservation Team for your event, and help us promote the development of a lasting conservation culture in Ontario.

The Conservation Team is equipped with interactive displays, contests, games and presentations as well as  a variety of print material ranging from tips on how to reduce energy consumption to information on local and provincial electricity conservation initiatives.

Electricity conservation has a positive impact on the city, consumers, and the environment. A kilowatt saved is one less kilowatt that needs to be generated, and paid for. Electricity conservation is something that each of us can incorporate into our daily lives to make a real difference, at home and in the community.

If your community group is planning an event and would like the Hydro Ottawa Conservation Team to participate, you may submit your proposal to Hydro Ottawa at ConservationTeam@hydroottawa.com with event details and dates.*
