Planned power outages
To ensure we can continue to provide you with reliable service, we perform regular repairs and upgrades to the electricity grid. To keep the crews and community safe, we may need to temporarily turn off the power.
While we know losing power is an inconvenience, these kinds of planned outages are essential for preventing larger, unplanned outages in the future. We plan and schedule our work carefully so any interruptions are as short and undisruptive as possible.
How we notify you about planned outages
Your peace of mind is important to us. If your home or business will be affected by a scheduled planned outage, you’ll receive advance notice from us by phone, email or text. The exact method will depend on the communication preferences you’ve selected in MyAccount.
This notice will provide key details about the interruption, including the date, time and how long it’s expected to last.
