We offer flexible options to allow you to make simple, on-time payments. Choose the method that works best for your business.
You can pay your bill through most major Canadian banks:
- Online or mobile banking
- By phone
- In person at a branch or ATM
Be sure to include the remittance stub when paying at a branch or ATM to ensure the payment is applied correctly.
You can pay your bill securely by credit or debit card.
- Online through MyAccount: Log in to MyAccount and click “Pay now” to use the saved account details. There’s no need to enter your account number.
- Online through Paymentus: Visit Paymentus to pay using a credit or debit card. Have a copy of the bill and 20-digit account number ready.
- By phone: Call us at (613) 738-6400 to make a credit card payment. (Debit cards are not accepted by phone.) Be sure to have the bill and 20-digit account number on hand.
Accepted cards:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit (online only)
Important:
- Each transaction is subject to a 1.75 per cent service fee, which is charged by the third-party provider. Hydro Ottawa does not receive any portion of this fee.
- Please allow up to two business days for processing.
If you prefer to pay by mail, send a cheque or money order — never cash — at least five days before the due date. Include the remittance stub and write your 20-digit account number on the front of your cheque.
Mail your payments to:
Hydro Ottawa
P.O. Box 8700
Ottawa, ON K1G 3S4
Paying for multiple accounts with one cheque? Be sure to include all relevant remittance stubs so we can apply your payment correctly across accounts. Missing information may result in late payment charges if funds are not properly allocated.
